The location of the hotel was really convenient, with easy access to popular tourist spots and bus stations. It was great to be able to explore Gion and Kiyozumidera temple without any hassle. Additionally, the staff were friendly and helpful, making the check-in process smooth and even allowing us to check in earlier after the cleaning.
The wifi was quite unreliable, especially in the rooms located on the upper floors. It would have been better if the wifi coverage was improved to provide a more convenient stay.

The lockers assigned to our beds were convenient and saved the hassle of a first-come first-serve basis. the futon was incredibly comfortable for the two nights and the location near famous shrines in the eastern side of the city was perfect for us party people.
Felt so well looked after, couldn't find a reason to complain.

The location near Gion and Kiyomizu-dera was fantastic for exploring Kyoto's tourist attractions. the staff were friendly and accommodating, even allowing me to hang out in the common area after check-out. the common space had a modern design and oozed with character. the upper bunk beds were comfortable and the stairs to access them were not too intimidating. the kitchen and shower area were tidy and well-maintained. the staff provided helpful ideas about what to do in Kyoto and how to get around. the guesthouse was conveniently located next to a bus stop that connected to most places, including the station. the beds had curtains for added privacy, and the air conditioning in the room was efficient. I had a pleasant experience and would definitely consider coming back.
Felt very secure, no complaints whatsoever.
